Six guys. Armed to the teeth (dove hunting). Traveling hundreds of miles to a place we'd never been. What could go wrong? Well, thanks to the efforts of John and Kristi...Nothing! Everything was as advertised or better. The home was clean, well-equipped and above expectations. Communication with the hosts was exemplary. I do not hesitate to give this AirBnB my highest recommendation. - Mike, AirBnB ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
No rule says that hunting trips mean roughing it.
Or fishing trips.
Or hiking trips.
After a long day in the field, on the trail, or on the water you can look forward to
The Hideaway in Hindes gives you all this and more.
Set back from the road and behind a locked gate, the Hideaway in Hindes about a mile from the closest neighbor. The loudest thing here are the crickets and the coyotes. Enjoy a fire under the stars and then curl up in a warm bed without having to worry about finding a rattlesnake in your boot in the morning!
Book us far enough in advance and we can find you the perfect outfitter, guide, or hike for you. With so many to choose from, you could go fishing one day and hunting the next. Just let us know what you are looking for in advance and we will do our best to find the right outfitter or guide for you to work with.
Your equipment is safe with us. We have a keypad-locking front gate that only you and your hosts can use to access the property. There is also a lockable equipment room to store your expensive photography equipment, tricked-out mountain bike, or prize fishing rod.*
*We ask that all firearms and archery equipment is kept in the lockable storage room at all times. Hunting on our property is strictly forbidden.
Expectations met and then some! The house was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our trip. My buddy and I used it for a hunting trip and it was the perfect place to wind down after a long day in the field. - Michelle A, AirBnB ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a perfect trip. I had purchased all the guys exotic hunts for Christmas (Kristi helped me arrange them) from a landowner just down the road. They shot Axis and Black Buck. The house was exactly what we expected and wanted. We cooked meals in the kitchen and the beds were comfy!

We truly respect our neighbors and also want to make sure that you enjoy your stay with us while you are hunting. To that end, we have rules in place that are strictly enforced. These rules are for the safety of you and your hunting party, as well as our neighbors and friends.
Firearms are not to be discharged on or near the property. You will be escorted off the property by local law enforcement if this rule is violated.
All firearms are to be stored either in your vehicle or in the lodge. Any display of firearms around the property will be perceived as a violation of our rules and you will be escorted off the property by local law enforcement.
In the main bedroom, there is an enormous walk in closet that we have converted into a secure storage area for your firearms. The doorknob has an electronic passcode that we will give to you upon check-in.
The property is equipped with 3 outdoor ring surveillance cameras to monitor the exterior doors and outdoor areas. One is located at the front entrance pointing towards the front porch, 1 located at side side laundry entrance pointing towards the yard, and 1 located on the side patio off master pointing towards yard/patio and are they are actively recording & monitoring the property. Security cameras monitor 24/7 and may be monitored to count the number of guests entering the home and to see if service providers show up, or if we get noise complaints from neighbors or our housekeeper calls about excessive guests or vehicles. We turn off notifications and do not monitor the security cameras while guests are in the home. We want guests enjoy their privacy. There are no video or audio devices of any kind in any living area within the home.
*Footage may be used in the event there is damage, theft, violation of our firearms policy, or trespassing. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting or obscuring the cameras is prohibited.
